A Considered Approach to Indoor Golf

Golf clubs are under increasing pressure to provide year‑round facilities without compromising the character of the club.

Indoor golf has become part of that conversation — but many solutions feel temporary, overly commercial, or visually out of place.

Qbic Space offers a different approach.

We design and build permanent indoor golf studios that sit naturally within a golf club environment — supporting coaching, practice and member engagement throughout the year.

Designed Specifically for Golf Clubs

Every Qbic Space indoor golf studio is designed with the realities of club operation in mind.

  • Seasonal usage and winter continuity
  • Professional coaching requirements
  • Member experience and expectations
  • Committee oversight and long‑term planning

The result is a facility that works operationally, looks appropriate on site, and adds genuine value to the club.

A Capital Investment, Owned by the Club

All Qbic Space indoor golf buildings are delivered as capital projects — constructed as permanent additions and owned outright by the club.

There are no lease structures, no revenue‑share arrangements, and no reliance on third‑party operators. The facility sits fully within the club’s control from day one.

This approach allows clubs to manage access, pricing, usage, and future development on their own terms, while adding a long‑term asset to the estate and wider infrastructure.

Architecture First. Technology Integrated.

The starting point for every project is the building itself.

Qbic Space designs and constructs high‑performance Structural Insulated Panel buildings, purpose‑designed to function as permanent elements of the club estate — not temporary enclosures shaped around equipment.

The construction method provides a stable, fully insulated, and climate‑controlled environment suitable for year‑round use, while allowing architectural form and external finishes to be shaped appropriately for the site.

Golf simulator technology is then integrated into the building, rather than dictating it.
This ensures internal dimensions, ceiling heights, lighting, acoustics, and sightlines are resolved correctly from the outset.

We work with established systems such as TrackMan and Foresight, allowing the environment to support professional‑grade performance without compromising the integrity of the building itself.

A Responsible Construction Choice

Construction decisions are increasingly scrutinised — by planners, by members, and through wider ESG expectations.

By combining SIP construction with ground screw foundations, clubs are able to deliver permanent facilities with a significantly reduced environmental impact.

This approach avoids concrete‑intensive foundations, reduces embodied carbon, limits site disruption, and supports future adaptability through removable and recyclable foundation systems. Factory‑controlled SIP manufacture further reduces material use, waste, and operational energy demand over the life of the building.

The result is a permanent indoor facility that meets modern sustainability expectations without drawing unnecessary attention — or introducing long‑term compromise.

Designed for Golf Clubs with Long-term Intent

Qbic Space is engaged by clubs that are approaching indoor golf as a permanent part of their estate — not a temporary or commercial experiment. Our approach appeals to club leadership focused on architectural fit, long‑term ownership, and operational clarity. Each project is developed to respect the character of the club, support member use throughout the year, and perform as a lasting asset rather than a short‑term solution.

Our role is to guide that process carefully — helping clubs explore whether a permanent indoor golf building is the right fit, and, if so, delivering it with the same standards expected elsewhere on the estate.

Next Steps

Deciding whether an indoor golf facility is right for your club starts with a measured discussion.

The initial conversation is simply an opportunity to explore objectives, review potential locations within the estate, and understand whether a permanent indoor building would align with the club’s long‑term plans.

From there, we can advise whether a Qbic Space indoor golf building is an appropriate solution — and, just as importantly, whether it isn’t.
